At Twilight Dance & Performing Arts, we believe dancers perform best when they feel comfortable, confident, and ready to move. Please follow the dress code below to ensure safety, proper technique, and a unified studio environment.
General Guidelines (All Classes)
Hair must be neatly secured away from the face (bun or ponytail preferred)
No large jewelry or accessories during class
Dancers should wear fitted clothing that allows movement
Proper dance shoes are required for each style
No gum, food, or toys in class
TEMPORARY ALTERNATIVE CHOICE for dancers who do not have the attire yet.
BALLET
Pink tights
Leotard
Pink ballet slippers
Hair in a secure bun
No Tutus, No Shorts, No Pants
TEMPORARY ALTERNATIVE: Leggings, fitted t-shirt, and socks
Contemporary/Lyrical
Leggings or shorts
Leotard or form fitted top
Bare feet or lyrical half soles
Style note: Soft, flexible clothing preferred for floor work and movement flow
